South Shore Nevada
South Shore Nevada is Tahoe’s answer to Las Vegas. As many put it it rivals Las Vegas when it comes to it gambling establishments, hopping nightlife, and extraordinary performances and entertainment. The only difference is that at South Shore Nevada you can have all this entertainment along with a great view. Whether you win or lose at the casino all you need to do is take a deep breath, enjoy the scenery, and you will forget worries.
Despite being most famous for its casinos the area also has lots of other attractions like the great beaches of Zephyr cove, golf courses, and numerous activities. At South Shore Nevada you can be sure to have something for everyone in the family. North Shore Nevada
Like South Shore Nevada the North Shore is also very popular for its really great casinos located at Crystal Bay. But more than that you will find that the North Shore Nevada is the best area around the lake when it comes to accommodation options. At North Shore Nevada variety is a given. it is where you will be able to choose from all types of accommodations including motels, inns, private homes, cabins, bed and breakfast, luxury hotels, casino hotels, and resort hotels.
The are also has some pretty great beaches that is unique in the Lake Tahoe area because of its huge boulders. It is also famous for the “other lake”, which is of course the Spooner Lake, the Incline Village, and the Flume Trail. At North Shore Nevada you can always have the option to enjoy nature by taking a hike along its beautiful trails, enjoying the scenery as you go on a joyride on its scenic highway, or having great fun at its casinos.
North and West Shore California
Without the casinos you would think this would be the least exciting part of Lake Tahoe. Far from that. The area is where you will find the greatest number of ski resort and also the best ski resort in Tahoe. A winter spent in Tahoe is almost synonymous to a winter spent here. During summertime though it is still one of the best places to go to since it boasts the best beaches in all of Tahoe. You will find some of the most fun and unique water activities at the area too due to the existence of the Truckee River. River rafting here we go.
As an added bonus the North and West Shore is known for having the greatest range of restaurants in the area. If you are into nature, fun, and food, this is the perfect place in Tahoe for you.
